The Basse Normandie
From the Mont Saint Michel classified as a UNESCO world Heritage site, via Granville and its famous carnival or Cherbourg with its harbour and fortified town, not forgetting its history with the 1944 D-Day landings, Basse Normandie has miles and miles of white sand beaches, which have been preserved in an exceptional natural environment.
There are plenty of family activities including beaches and rock pooling, cultural visits, gastronomic discoveries
