Barneville-Carteret
While having a great holiday by the sea, you'll find in the countryside nearby our built heritage and our history. The coast of the Isles has a tonic and invigorating climate and a natural space reserved. Its beaches are sheltered by the swell of the Atlantic by the Channel Islands and warmed by the Gulf Stream. As a marine haven that penetrates deep into the countryside, a marina was built. On the docks of fishing, fishermen landed fish and shellfish.
Festivals, regattas and competitions participate in the animation of our resort.
The activities are varied, swimming, rest or play on the beach, sailing and surfing, hiking, golf, a walk in the countryside to discover old churches and mansions or a mini-cruise to Jersey.
It consists of three villages with very marked differences:
Barneville harbor is the heart of water in the seaside city, ever changing with the tides.
Carteret is a fishing port and marina departure point as well as Port-lease near-sea connections to the Channel Islands normandes.Le town of Barneville, will surprise you with its fortifications and its church. Place to live vibrant, punctuated by the market and the services offered. Everything is there at your fingertips!
Barneville-beach is the place dedicated to the pleasure of beach games and explore the aquatic life at low tide.
Everything is there for a stay of discovery (hiking, cultural tours and gastronomic pleasures) of laughter and relaxation with family and friends.
